Argh.
Discrimination is something we all do, inadvertantly or on purpose. But when someone does it to their friend, isn't that going too far? Just because someone dresses in a certain way doesn't mean anything. Not everyone can afford to dress like a celebrity, and maybe they don't want to. Same goes for the way people act. Take a moment to appreciate those people that break from the mold, separate themselves from the norm. They're the ones that will change the world one day.

I must be very easily amused.
Who knew Google Image Labeler could be so fun?
Who knew Google Image Labeler could be so fun?
It's a pretty ingenious way for Google to catergorize their images with the help of the users.

Nuclear Accidents...
were caused by stupid humans. For the most part. This school year seems to be all about nuclear power. First Hiroshima for History Day (which is one of the most moronic projects I'll ever do in my life) and now this. I'll post my powerpoint when I stop procrastinating.
Faith.
Early in my life, I was a Buddhist. From what I remember, I hated it, but I was only like, 7 or 8 at the time. When I reached 10, though, my parents converted to Christianity. It was a welcome change. I learned about a whole new world of stories and history, like Noah and the Flood, and Moses. But there's a time all things change. I grew up to be a cynic. My faith in God gradually weakened over the years and hit an all time low today. In class, we were debating the importance of the Resurrection of Christ. But listening to the pastor comparing Christianity incorrectly to other religions like Buddhism, and even non-religions (Confucianism), I was dismayed. Why, I thought, should I believe in something this man also believes in if he doesn't have an understanding for other beliefs? It made no sense to me and annoyed me irrationally. I do still believe in God, but the doubts are showing.
